Our Mission in Prayer

Our desire is to actively encourage and support prayer within our church so that all believers at Christ the Redeemer will communicate confidently and joyfully with God in all types of prayer.

Our Principles of Prayer

Apart from God we can do nothing. (John 15:5)

One of the ways that God has chosen to govern is in response to the prayers of His people. God chooses to involve us in His work. (2 Cor 6:1)

We do not have from God because we do not ask of God. (James 4:2)

❖ ❖ ❖

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)

❖ ❖ ❖

The prayer of the upright pleases God. (Proverbs 5:8)

Do you have a Prayer Request?

There are three ways to get your request into our Prayer Ministry . . .    

1. Fill out the prayer request form in the Sunday bulletin tear-off. Ushers will collect your request during the service so that they may be prayed during the service and/or placed into our prayer ministry.

2. You may E-mail your prayer request to: ctrlutheran@ctr.phxcoxmail.com.

3. Members of our Prayer Ministry are always available for personal prayer on Sunday Mornings before and after services at the altar area.
